Its Finally Here

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE PRAYERS!

All of Judith's flights have been on time, and arrived safely! :) The power of prayer is so strong :)

In about 10 mins we will be heading to the airport. I am super excited! :) But at the same time i feel this rush of emotions that makes me want to cry. (HAPPY tears though)
I guess its the fact that i have known her for a few months and we have become so close, and i finally get to see her and hug her, and do all the stuff that we wanted to do while she is here. Its just amazing. God has blessed me so much with such a wonderful sister and i cannot wait to see her get off the plane in an hour and a half.....
Please continue the prayers for a safe flight to MSP, and also so her luggage doesnt get lost.
And also pray that even though she will be home sick that she will over come it. I cant even begin to imagine what it feels like for her right now. Thanks so much for the prayers! Im continuing to pray as well, my sister will be here safely :)

God Bless,
Ashley

Please Pray...

Tomorrow Judith, our foregin exchange student from Germany will be arriving. Please start praying for her. Since there is a 7 hour time difference she has to leave her house in a couple of hours to head to her 10am flight.

I am really excited about having her here, and it going to be lots of fun!
I just really hope we get a long well, we have been talking for months but its different finally meeting her :) I really cant wait! :)
I made a poster that says "welcome to Minnesota" and has the German flag on it lol :)

Today i also made a quick Walmart run, and bought one of those picture frames that holds multiple pictures. Then printed off a picture of her parents, my parents, our whole family (the 5 of us), and Lilly. And i put it in her room, she has no idea but will see it once we get home from the airport. :)

Im really wondering what its going to feel like tomorrow. I mean im really excited and its going to be great but this is a first for me thats for sure. I'm pretty sure i might cry, not going to lie!

So please keep her and her family in your prayers, God will watch over them :)

And dont worry pictures to come after tomorrow, im going to try and catch every moment i can on camera (i have to use my moms because mine is broken but thats ok at least i have one) ex. Judith getting off the plane, seeing us, first meeting, etc :) hope my photographer skills kick in!

God Bless!,
Ashley

I can do this...I think....

Ok so everything in my life is going really great for me, and im grateful. The only problem is my body... I have so many food intolorences that have been discovered in the past 3 years. Its crazy that they were never discovered before that due to the fact that i have had the symptoms since i was very young. My food intolorences include:
-Dairy
-Wheat
-Sugar
-Egg
-Corn
-Oats (Discovered today at the Chiropractor- Thank you for all your help Dr. John!)

So i cant eat anything without one of those things being included in what i eat.

So i decided im getting back on track. I havent been keeping up to great with my eating and i need to be way way way more careful.
I have realized that the way i eat effects how i sleep, my performance in school and activities, and my body image which is a huge one!

Honestly i dont like my body, and i dont like how i look. And believe me I know that God made me in his image and he loves me the way that i am, and right now i feel like i am "dising" God by saying i dont like my body image. And i feel horrible....

But i really need to eat better, to help myself. I cant keep living like this when i know i can do better. Please keep me in your prayers!

God Bless,
Ashley

Hey all!
Well good news.....today i took my license test and i PASSED! :) It was my first try and im so happy! :) I was so extremely nervous through the whole thing, and my parallel parking (which i can do 95% of the time) did not work out in my favor. I hit the curb twice :/ but then i finally got it! :) I thought "oh great...now i have to do everything perfect or im gonna fail..." But in the end the examiner told me i did really well, and i passed! :) I was grinning from ear to hear! I hopped out of the car and gave my dad a thumbs up and walked towards him, he smiled and gave me a big hug :) It was a great morning!

This afternoon my best friend DeDe and I went to applebees for lunch and had a great time! :) and i got to drive! :) (i know sweet right?!? Mom's idea!) I love having the freedom! :)
